Tuesday, the 25th of June
There have been places where I have eaten that when I look back, I think “what made me decide to eat there?” More amazingly, there have been places where I have eaten that I look back and think: “who knew that I would love this place? I have to recommend it to friends!”
Kahn’s is such a place. It is literally on the street. It is a ‘motor vehicle repair and spare parts shop’ during the day, a restaurant in the evening, with chicken on the bonnet and spicy Indian salads. Once, I went to the washroom inside and I had to jump over a puddle of blood coming from a piled of slaughtered chickens to get there. And I remember thinking “better this than a puddle of motor oil..”
And no, I have never been sick from Kahn’s. Which is not something I can say from every place I have ever eaten..
