Sometimes when I go into a website, I am addressed with so much personal information that it worries me. I understand they can track where you are and use the location but sometimes it goes beyond that.. When I google Qatar airlines, Google suggests the Tanzanian website, the global one and the Belgium one – in that order. That freaks me out.
I know, I know, we offer this info ourselves via Facebook and all.. But still. And what if I google something and I have personalized chrome/google plus but I also use chrome at work with my bookmarks from home. Can my employer see what I checked at home? I know my searches at work do pop up at home.. How do I know where the info ends?
And I would not be me if it also would not bother me why some websites or online services do not seem to have a clue as to who I am even though I use them a lot. You can’t win with me đŸ™‚
Anyway, had to get that of my chest..
